The golf course was getting exceptionally dry so last night’s 1.4” of rain was somewhat welcomed.
However, golf carts won’t be allowed today, as there’s standing water over a lot of the property.
The rain is supposed to come down most of the day, so we will evaluate carts for Monday, tomorrow morning.
If you find yourself missing golf, there is a charity match play event at 1:00 on NBC, benefiting Covid relief. The match will be played at one of the greatest classic golf course in the country, Seminole Golf Club. It will be worth the time to see some fantastic restored architecture, which should make for great entertainment on a sloppy Sunday at home, for a great cause.
