Snow is the best insulator to protect the fine turf against winter desiccation.<\/p>\n<p>At the course, ~12&#8243; dropped last night, but even more impressive was the drifts, some areas are three feet deep! The front and back 9 loops both start at the driving range tee.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-236 alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.mhccturf.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/mhcc-ski-and-snowshoe-trail2.jpg?resize=888%2C566\" alt=\"\" width=\"888\" height=\"566\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" \/><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>If you walk or snowshoe, please stay all the way on the left side of the trail (going down #1 and #10)<\/li>\n<li>If you skate\/Nordic ski, stay in the middle<\/li>\n<li>If you classic cross country, stay all the way on the right side<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This way, everyone&#8217;s preferred trail keeps its integrity.
