Congratulations to Mike Paape on becoming the next Golf Course Superintendent at St. Croix National in Somerset Wisconsin!<\/p>\n
Today will be\u00a0Mike’s last day at Midland Hills.\u00a0He joined Midland Hills in\u00a0March of 2008 as our Golf Course Technician. He earned his way to Lead Assistant Superintendent in 2011.\u00a0Through Mike’s 8 years at Midland, he’s shown great dedication to the club, a mentor to\u00a0our staff members and a great friend. His technical skills and ability to manage our\u00a0operation at a high\u00a0level of efficiency\u00a0will be missed. St. Croix\u00a0National will soon learn that they hired a talented individual.<\/p>\n
I am very\u00a0excited for him and his family to start\u00a0the next step in his career, where I’m certain he will continue to find success.<\/p>\n
Our past 2 Lead Assistants at Midland Hills are now Golf Course Superintendents at their respective golf courses. We should all take pride in creating a environment which promotes from within and creates\u00a0career advancement. It’s another part of what makes Midland a great place.<\/p>\n
