Justin Hemauer just completed the first winter-trail groom of the season. There is one important change to the route this year. With all of the seed/seedlings of Fescue in the rough, we have altered the normal route, as to stay off of those planted areas. The ski trail usually creates a solid sheet of ice underneath, something we don’t want over the young seedlings, as it will have negative effects. Please stay on the trail as you won’t be able to discern where the areas of seedlings are.
We had about 6″ of snow last week, but with the extreme winds, there are areas of grass showing. With snow in the immediate forecast, we should have a great base by the end of the week.
